Working with a highly collaborative HR team, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays an integral part in helping to create a great workplace experience emphasized by the CIB’s core values and behaviors. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational support on a wide range of areas including employee relations, performance management and employee engagement including HR projects, compliance, programs and policies, systems and reporting. Responsibilities:

  • Delivering solutions that advance a high-performing work environment, anticipate and act on employee needs, and ensure the alignment of HR principles
  • Providing counsel to managers and employees that supports employee engagement, development and an employee experience that aligns with our values
  • Leading or co-leading HR programs and initiatives in partnership with HR colleagues or as stand-alone project manager
  • Role modelling and continuously supporting the organizational values of: Make it better, for Canada, Break new ground, Be the best of public and private and Celebrate our differences
  • Striving for continuous improvement by always looking for ways to improve programs and processes and the overall employee experience
  • Fostering a culture of inclusion in which all employees feel involved, valued and respected
  • Participating in other HR related programs such as: learning and development programs, policy and development, employee engagement surveys and continuous improvement of HR systems and practices
