GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Human Resources Business Partner position is a great opportunity to grow in your career, alongside our organization. It is a strategic and hands-on position that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our organization. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence through process improvement.
You will be expected to work from our Naples, Italy office with occasional travel to various project sites and offices throughout Europe.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a European Union (preferred) or United States citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in Europe. The ideal candidate will possess experience with a construction firm.
  • Detailed knowledge of European Union (EU) HR laws and regulations, including local compliance requirements and benefits administration
  • Familiarity with Passport and Visa processes in Europe
  • Knowledge of Letter of Authorization processes preferred.
  • Track record of achievement and career progression.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented and cost conscious.
  • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Travel required at least Quarterly to project sites and other offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Constantly and proactively works to achieve the company’s vision and goals through implementation of its HR policies and procedures.
  • Promotes and encourages a safety-conscious attitude.
  • Assists with the recruitment process, including tracking applicants, scheduling interviews, and drafting offer letters.
  • Oversees the new hire on-boarding process including mentor assignments, training coordination, work location assignment, technology requirements, travel, and logistics.
  • Coordinates all new hire training with employees and presenters. Oversees the training while in session to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Enters and tracks employee information using the enterprise resource planner tool (COINS) or other applicable systems.
  • Works collaboratively with the HR team to execute Benefits and Compliance functions.
  • Works with Payroll to assist individuals with relocation by providing guidance, processing payments, processing Visas, etc., to facilitate a smooth transition.
  • Participates in project kickoff meetings and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Partners and consults with management on employee-related issues. Advises, counsels, and proactively works to resolve job-related concerns. Leads internal complaint investigations.
  • Reviews and processes terminations and associated paperwork. Conducts thorough exit interviews. Assists with the collection of company property from terminated employees and its return to the proper functional teams.
  • Constructs, negotiates, and finalizes agreements and contracts.
  • Works closely with company’s legal counsel as necessary.
  • Maintains organized and accurate documentation and files.
  • Other duties as assigned.
