YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field
- PHR, SPHR, or GPHR certification required
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role
- Previous experience supporting business clients in a global matrix environment
- HR experience in the freight forwarding industry is beneficial
- 4-1 Hybrid work schedule in Jersey City, NJ required
Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE
As our Human Resources Business Partner, you will act as a strategic partner to our Sea Logistics business units aligning initiatives with the organization’s goals and objectives within Americas, East Asia, and Oceania. You will be working closely with business leaders, supporting our national HRBP, driving talent management, and fostering a positive work culture. This position will provide impact globally, as it is instrumental in developing and implementing strategies that will enhance business performance and employee engagement across Sea Logistics in Americas, East Asia & Oceania.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Closely collaborate with our global business leaders to align strategy with our business goals for Sea Logistics in the Americas, East Asia & Oceania.
- Adopt and drive the implementation of global initiatives
- Drive focused projects linking to our global and local strategy, focusing on organizational effectiveness, continuous improvement and market growth
- Adopt and implement global strategic initiatives of Total Rewards and Talent Development for Sea Logistics Americas, East Asia & Oceania
- Drive talent management and succession planning processes for respective areas
- Ensure market competitive compensation and rewards structure to attract and retain key employees
- Partner with Global Talent Development on the creation and drive the implementation of change processes and reorganizations
- Provide guidance and support to national HRBPs on HR-related matters within the business areas
- Create and analyze reports and KPIs to support business decisions, using data to identify trends and recommend appropriate actions
- Foster a culture of compliance with labor regulations and internal policies
- Collaborate with local HRBP and external consultants to resolve legal issues as needed
