Description:

We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Midland, Texas. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity where you will be handling a variety of HR related tasks. As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage recruitment activities, including sourcing candidates, handling position requisitions, and maintaining applicant data.
  • Oversee assessment and selection processes to fill vacant positions efficiently.
  • Prepare compensation offers for new hires, transfers, and promotions.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support in all HR related processes and activities to managers, supervisors, and employees.
  • Manage employee relations, including resolving disputes, handling complaints, and counseling employees.
  • Conduct investigations as needed, gathering factual information concerning employee/management inquiries and suggestions or complaints.
  • Guide and support managers in developing corrective actions and ensure accurate documentation and follow-up for low performing employees.
  • Mentor employees in communication skills, career paths, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Assist managers and employees in preparing individual development plans, corrective action, performance improvement plans, and in sustaining a continuous improvement culture for the site.
  • Ensure effective and consistent administration of HR policies and guidelines, maintaining 100% accuracy of HR data in all systems.
  • Analyze and prepare reports about the Human Resource function and key performance indicators.
  • Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role
  • Proficient in Recruitment - Sourcing, Recruitment - High Volume, and Recruitment - Technical
  • Demonstrated experience in Compensation & Benefits and Employee Relations
  • Ability to Conduct Investigations and administer Human Resources (HR) Administration
  • Experience in Employee performance management and HR Policy
  • Proficient in using Dayforce software
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and judgment; ability to make sound decisions independently
  • Strong ethics and understanding of ethics in business and in dealing with people
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with grace and diplomacy and to remain neutral in difficult employee relations issues
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
