AIR INUIT CORPORATE PROFILE

Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, chartered, cargo and emergency air transport services to Nunavik and beyond- 24 hours a day, 365 days a year - for over 45 years. Collectively owned by the Inuit of Nunavik, through Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of 36 aircraft and employs more than 1,100 employees in one of the world’s most challenging flight environments.
Air Inuit Management and its team of dedicated employees are committed to pursuing their tradition of providing safe, punctual and courteous air service for the growing number of people living and doing business in this enchanting region of Nunavik in Northern Québec.

FORMER EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE

  • Follow up on employees leaving Air Inuit as well as exit interviews;
  • Analyze the causes of departures and make recommendations to improve the employee experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations;
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position;
  • CRHA member (an asset);
  • Aviation experience (an asset);
  • Experience with Inuit communities (an asset);
  • Knowledge of an HRIS (ideally WFN from ADP and Synerion, would be an asset);
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint);
  • Excellent writing and communication skills (French-English);
  • Ability to work in a team, manage priorities with autonomy and resourcefulness;
  • Rigor, professionalism and a sense of ethics in the performance of their duties.

Responsibilities:

Under the responsibility of the director - human resources, the HR business partner - Talent acts, in collaboration with the human resources team, as an ambassador of the employee’s experience both internally and externally of Air Inuit.
