Description:
Tribe is looking for a motivated individual to join us in the GTA to work on our Human Resources team. With Tribe’s consistent growth and success each year, your primary focus will be the recruitment of sales reps across Canada. Outside of that, you will ensure the company remains legally compliant in employment standards, occupational health and safety and other applicable legislative requirements. You will help improve on and build culture across the company, assisting senior leaders in the growth and development of employees, assist in onboarding new staff and more.
This is a unique role that allows an HR professional to be immersed in the business of medical device sales. Other duties will pop up that allow you to expand your business knowledge, while maintaining your specialty as a Human Resources expert.
The right candidate is a well-rounded generalist who has 3-5 years experience, ideally in the health and/or private sales industry. An HR diploma or degree, or relevant experience is required. A CHRP/CHRL designation is an asset. You must have experience working with an HRIS (like Humi) and be able to travel within Canada and the US. You will be required to advise on provincial legislation and employment law from across Canada.
This role is pivotal to the people who work at Tribe. It is a versatile role that gets a lot of questions and while you may not have the answers, you are seen as a partner in helping find solutions and direct people to the right sources.
This role will be hybrid, but you must be able to attend our Mississauga office and travel to our London, ON office on a regular basis. You will be remotely supporting a team of over 100 people across Canada and will need flexibility from time to time to meet in different time zones
