We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support to the HR team and payroll department by assisting with various administrative tasks related to employee compensation, benefits, and personnel records.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field preferred, or an acceptable combination of relevant education, training and experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an HR Coordinator.
- Knowledge of multiple HR functions and best practices.
- Knowledge of payroll practices and experience with HRIS and payroll software (ADP).
- Excellent communication skills in French and English (to serve our internal and external customers).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Perform staffing for plant and warehouse positions, assisting managers in analyzing applications and conducting interviews. Coordinate recruitment, including posting job openings, and scheduling interviews.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Maintain the employee training register.
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee information and records.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and company policies.
- Assist with the onboarding process and conduct the new hire orientations.
- Assist with the offboarding process.
- Coordinate and lead training sessions and seminars.
- Assist with processing payroll on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as offer letters, policies, and internal communication.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to attendance policies and procedures.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or issues and recommend appropriate actions. Assist with the disciplinary measures.
- Act as the first point of contact of the HR department for employees.
- Support other assigned functions and ad-hoc HR Projects.
