Neighbourly Pharmacy has a phenomenal opportunity to join our dynamic Human Resources team which supports over 3500 employees across Canada, as an HR Coordinator in Saskatchewan.

The successful candidate will act as a main point of contact for all human resources needs across all Neighbourly Pharmacy locations throughout Saskatchewan and Manitoba, largely focusing on onboarding, employee relations and performance management. The HR Coordinator will also be responsible for other administrative human resources functions including relevant metrics/tracking, involvement in performance reviews, health & safety management and other duties as assigned. Travel will be required, dependent upon business needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator provides consistent employee relations support to create an environment where individuals and teams can thrive and deliver high performance. You will partner with leadership to execute aligned human resources programs and initiatives successfully across the company.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma with a Human Resources focus
  • One to two years of experience in a Human Resources capacity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills in order to balance multiple tasks and projects at one time
  • CHRP Designation an asset but not required
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel within Saskatchewan and Manitoba occasionally

Responsibilities:

  • Responds to employee inquiries and concerns providing guidance and recommendations for problem resolution or redirecting and escalating as appropriate.
  • Ensures completion of required onboarding documentation, e.g. hiring authorizations, employee information forms, offer letters, etc.
  • Provides support to managers around compensation plans that align with company programs
  • Conduct orientation and training with new managers and/or staff as directed
  • Provides coaching to management regarding reinforcing goals and/or any issues related to employee performance, productivity or behaviour based on established policy, practice and/or contract. Reviews documentation and prepares letters of discipline when required, supporting the process to ensure positive outcomes
  • Supports in the acquisition process through onboarding and supporting employees and managers at new stores
  • Supports short-term and long-term disability processes as applicable. Participates in return-to-work discussions
  • May Support in confidential and potentially sensitive internal investigations when required and as directed, using established procedures for consistency and compliance
  • Supports in providing data/analytics to leaders relating to Human Resources and other related operational metrics to support business reporting, planning and management
  • In coordination with Manager, Human Resources, assists with facilitation of Neighbourly’s training programs as needed
  • In collaboration with the Manager, Human Resources, supports Neighbourly’s health and safety programs, safety initiatives, including injury prevention and ability management
  • Assists with general administration of the Learning Management System, Statistics Canada responses, and HR/Payroll internal and external audits nationally
  • Performs other duties as assigned
