Responsibilities:
Performs jobs responsibilities within the framework of established Hospital procedures, policies and standards under the direct supervision of the Manager/Chief Human Resources Officer.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing tasks that involve recruitment, orientation, and performance evaluations of employees. Prepares a listing each month of delinquent performance evaluations for distribution to managers/supervisors. Keeps the Manager of Human Resources informed.
  • Prepares and manages the performance management program.
  • Maintains 1-9 logs – updates and renewals and work permit audits on a monthly basis.
  • Furnishes required information for employment verifications.
  • Answers incoming phone calls and gives accurate information or directs calls appropriately.
  • Types forms and memos, routine correspondence and letters according to established guidelines to management and staff.
  • Maintains current employee files in HRIS and folders. Assist with the accurate filing of documents into the employee personnel file.
  • Maintains monthly license/certification report to ensure the timely renewal of licensure and certifications. Verifies all licenses on line to make sure primary source is complete. Sends notification to employees and managers to make them aware of upcoming license and certification expirations.
  • Backup on logs related to Workers Compensation claims. Processes reports on a timely basis. Follows up with any loss time claims to ensure proper handling.
  • Performs all duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree required or 6 years of related experience.
  2. Must speak, read, and write English with the ability to compose correspondence displaying good command of the English language.
  3. Strong interpersonal communication skills and personnel related experience is required.
