Description:
Job Summary:
The Human ResourceCoordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes. The Human ResourceCoordinator makes that certain plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. This role participates in new hire processes, including and not limited to recruitment, interviewing, job offers, new hire paperwork and completing all orientation processes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school education or GED.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Responsibilities:
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administers, changes and terminations. Processes required documents to payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
- Submits all new-employee background checks within 3 days of hire.
- Conducts audits of HR programs and recommends corrective action.
- Assists with processing of disciplinary actions.
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
- Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
- Files documents into appropriate employee files.
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
- Prepares new-employee files.
- Processes mail.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Communicating with Staffing Coordinator to ensure all positions are posted and accounted for.
