Description:

TITLE: HR Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: People and Transformation/People and Organization Development Unit
LOCATION: Jakarta
CHILD SAFEGUARDING: Level 2: the post holder will have access to personal data about children and/or young people and will be working in a ‘regulated’ position

TALENT ACQUISITION

  • Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions and specifications.
  • Manage applicant tracking systems and ensure accurate and timely updates.
  • Coordinate and participate in job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Build and maintain a talent pool for future hiring needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Psychology or a similar field. Preferably master’s degree in human resource management.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a talent acquisition role and managing or coordinating end-toend recruitment projects and/or talent pools, including but not specific to sourcing, candidate screening, interview coordination and background checks.
  • Good knowledge of HR best practices and recruitment strategies.
  • The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies.
  • Strong team coordination skills - able to provide updates to hiring manager in a timely manner and clearly communicate project priorities with multicultural team.
  • Solid knowledge of HR tools, such as applicant tracking systems, as well as experience with recruitment processes and databases .
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
  • Tech savvy in social media multi-channel platforms
  • Excellent knowledge of job posting sites and professional social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines

Responsibilities:

ROLE PURPOSE:

Save the Children Indonesia (SC IDN) is a thought leader organization that articulates what children say, works for them, and generates evidence about what works for children in its program implementation and policy influence/advocacy. SC IDN gained the status of an Associate Member Country in November 2019. In 2021, SC IDN’s Board of Patron approved the transformation towards a Diversified Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) business model. It is on its journey to becoming a Full Member status and achieving tripling impact for children in Indonesia.
The People and Transformation Department (P&T) has strengthened the Human Resources process and procedures through various improvements in all HR Processes to support the organization in providing the best services and partnering with the business. These include strategically reinforcing Localization and Partnership Management.
The HR Coordinator will support the People and Organizational Development (POD) Unit by managing and executing various HR processes with a strong focus on talent acquisition and data management. This role will involve end-to-end recruitment, supporting the Learning and Development Unit, and ensuring the seamless implementation of HR strategies and policies.
