We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator that assists with day-to-day operations for the human resource office including: employee relations, company-employee communications, and benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s Degree (B.A.) from a college or university, or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Good listener.
  • Team player.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

  • Records employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason.
  • Processes employment applications and assists in other employment activities.
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals.
  • Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons.
  • Compiles data from personnel records and prepares reports such as the OSHA 300 and others.
  • Maintains reports of accidents and injuries at establishment.
  • Assists with administration of policies, procedures, programs and benefits.
  • Assists with conducting employee orientation meetings to discuss policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Updates employee time system.
  • Administers general office functions.
  • Interprets for those not speaking or reading English or Spanish.
  • Other duties as assigned.
