Description:

STR Behavioral Health is seeking a HR Coordinator to join our team! This is a full-time, HYBRID position, working Monday. Wednesday and Friday ONSITE and Tuesday and Thursday remotely. Hours are 9a-5pm Eastern Time. Travel to locations within the STR network required (Bethlehem, Levittown. Warminster, Mahanoy City, Lancaster.)

STR Behavioral Healths premier mental health and addiction treatment centers are in Levittown, Bucks County, and Lehigh Valley, and Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania. The programs we offer include detox, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient care with licensed recovery housing.We work closely with every client to create personalized, high-quality treatment plans that cater to their specific needs, increasing their chances of success.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Position requires an associate’s degree or equivalent in combined education and experience and 2+ years experience of Human Resources related experience.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Position requires incumbent to have a valid drivers license, and an acceptable driving record for the last three years.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partners with the Human Resources Manager to promote and streamline effective processes that ensure the tasks within the department are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Supports key initiatives related to customer service, core values, engagement, recruitment, payroll and benefits.
  • Escalates complex employee relations issues to ensure company-wide practices remain consistent.
  • Maintains an up-to-date understanding of facility staffing, recruitment, and support needs.
  • Serves as the primary point of customer service for staff on items related to HR systems/processes.
  • Conducts regular new employee orientation and onboarding in a warm and welcoming manner
  • Assists with maintenance, creation, and distribution of HR related forms and communications.
  • Conducts reference checks and background checks in accordance with policy.
  • Ensures employee files are accurate and includes appropriate documents according to the licensing requirements for the state licensure and Joint Commission.
  • Monitors dates for compliance with monitoring performance review dates, certifications, license, competencies, etc.
  • Assists Human Resources Manager and payroll specialists with monitoring payroll practices.
  • Supports recruiting and onboarding efforts.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acts as a point of customer service for staff on times related to Paycom and Relias.
  • Organizes, attends, and participates in various meetings, as requested.
  • Provides tactical support for various HR initiatives, as requested.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
