Description:
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
- To support the Human Resources Department with HR and Safety Administrative functions, Recruitment and On-boarding functions. Some of the other key responsibilities of this position are:
- Processing hires and terminations within the Paylocity HRIS.
- Managing the New Hiring Orientation and Safety training processes.
- Supporting the communication blasts that are sent out to employees.
- Supporting the maintenance of the Self-Service Portal.
- Supporting the setup of online training on the Mineral system.
- Updating the Safety various Safety logs.
- Managing the callouts in Daily Chats, and employee attendance changes.
- Assist with the coordination of special events for employees and the company.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- A candidate with a PHR Certification is preferred but not required.
- The candidate must have a minimum of three years’ experience working in a human resources support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience or knowledge of using the Paylocity and Mineral systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of the laws that govern human resources, safety, and recruitment practices is essential.
- Candidate must be able to extremely organized and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work well with others in addition to superior verbal and written communication skills, is required.
- Experience using TEAMS, Microsoft Word, and Excel is necessary.
- Will need to be available to handle special projects and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Work Shift: Saturday 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday 8 am to 5:00 pm.
