Description:
The HR Data Analyst will serve as the front-line administrator for entering, processing and auditing sensitive HRIS data. The HR Data Analyst is also responsible for maximizing technological capabilities to reduce manual processes, preparing ad-hoc/scheduled reporting and serving as a resource for process-improvement tasks and special projects. This position will also execute a variety of tasks associated with the on-boarding process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as the primary recipient organization-wide for New Hire/Job Change forms; entering specific information needed to onboard new employees and any job changes within the system.
- Auditing information received from hiring managers to ensure accurate mapping from Job Profile to GL coding.
- Acts as a resource and guide for managers as it relates to HR data and positions.
- Audits approval process through system for accuracy and recording.
- Assists with the support of all aspects of Human Resources as it relates to data requests, including data availability, ad-hoc reports and feasibility of requests.
- Assist HR Generalists with coordination of the criminal background process and update management on results.
- Maintain personnel records for current and past employees, including sorting and filing.
- Work on Excel spreadsheets as needed with direction from manager.
- Assist in the acquisition process through on-boarding, orientation, training, etc.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One (1) to two (2) years experience in an administrative role taking direction from multiple managers.
- Experience with Workday preferred.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must be highly detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks as assigned
- Must communicate well with others and have excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Must be able to work independently and manage time wisely
