POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Director to join our team on a part-time basis. The HR Director will recruit and manage HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the organization’s mission and values. This role will be crucial in fostering a positive, inclusive, and responsive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a senior HR role, preferably in a non-profit or community-based organization.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Experience with project management and organizational development.
  • Passion for the mission and values of OnePeopleTO/OnePeople Philanthropy.
