A Human Resources Executive is responsible for supporting and advising management on proper policies and procedures to deliver an excellent staff experience while assisting with employee relations.

Responsibilities:

As a Human Resources Executive, you are responsible for supporting and advising management on proper policies and procedures to deliver an excellent staff experience. A Human Resources Executive will also be required to manage succession planning and employee relations. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Assist in the organisation of Team Member social events
  • Work with local organisations and schools to promote the hospitality industry
  • Promote and endorse staff benefits
  • Assist and resolve team member and management queries
  • In-charge of coordinating and executing events and activities facilitated by the Hotel such as Summer Outing, Annual Team Members’ Party, Monthly celebration, and other activities for the team members
  • Represents HR in the Blue Energy Committee; collaborate with the committee with regards to all team member related events
  • Prepares yearly calendar that includes all Team Members related activities
  • Emcee’s during events and monthly celebrations
  • In-charge of collecting information and making presentations for Townhall Meeting
  • In-charge of handling requirements for team members’ relations such as but not limited to sending of newborn greetings/gifts, hospital visit, sending of sympathy card, etc.
  • Allocates lockers to new team members ahead of their starting date
  • Is knowledgeable in statutory legislation in associate and industrial relations, understanding and strictly adhering to Rules & Regulations established in the team member handbook
  • Assist the team members in adhering to all company/hotel human resources policies and procedures
  • Assist in ensuring that all government-stipulated associate legislation is strictly followed and implemented
  • Ensures that all personnel records are maintained, filed and updated in the HR System
  • Responsible for maintaining and monitoring manual and biometrics duty roster of all team member

A Human Resources Executive serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • Previous experience in Human Resources Officer or equivalent role
  • Positive attitude
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work on their own or in team
