4Refuel is looking for an enthusiastic Human Resources professional with a passion for people and workplace culture. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a variety of HR functions including employee engagement, recruitment, CNESST claims management, performance management, and training and development. You will serve as a key resource for employees and leaders, fostering a positive workplace culture and addressing HR related inquiries. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR practices, legislation, excellent communication skills and a passion for enhancing the employee experience. This position plays a vital role in supporting our organizational goals and promoting a collaborative environment.
To best support our employees, this is a hybrid remote role which requires in office presence 2 days per week (Montreal office). Additionally, this person must be available to travel to Quebec City 1-2 times every other month. This person may also be required to visit our Atlantic office annually.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be fully bilingual in French and English (written/spoken) to communicate with all employees.
- Must have a people first mindset, eager to make a positive impact and maintain a positive culture.
- Post secondary education in a Human Resources or related field & knowledge of local employment legislation
- 5 years of progressive experience within a Human Resources department.
- Experience with an HRIS system; Ceridian Dayforce is considered an asset.
- Exceptional team player with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Computer proficiency with a thorough knowledge of MS Office and social media tools.
