ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

cam|industrial is looking for a Human Resources Professional to join our fast-paced team in Calgary. The successful candidate will play a key role supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Our customers encompass a wide range of industries ranging from Oil and Gas, Energy, Food and Dry-Goods. Cam Industrial has offices in Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver which provides opportunities for growth and leadership. QUALIFICATIONS

– Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or similar field.
– Experience working in Human Resources with a knowledge of HR compliance regulations and best practices.
– Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in a professional manner.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with employees of all levels.
– Experience in recruiting processes and sourcing strategies
– Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels
– Experience with Business Central is advantageous.
– Experience with Absorb LMS is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

– Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling and conducting interviews.
– Manage new employee onboarding and conduct orientation sessions.
– Manage employee relation issues and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
– Maintain employee records and ensure information is entered accurately in Business Central.
– Assist the payroll department by ensuring employees are entered in a timely manner in Business Central.
– Provide support in employee relations matters and conflict resolution.
– Assist in benefits administration; add new employees, salary changes, terminations and employee requested changes, answer employee questions.
– Support training and development initiatives for employees and maintain training records.
– Collaborate with management on HR projects such as policy updates, performance management, and compliance initiatives.
– Implement change management strategies when necessary.
– Oversee the LMS implementation and content.
