Location: Ancaster, Ontario (100% Onsite)
Travel: Minimal (up to 10%)
We are seeking a dynamic HR Generalist with exceptional expertise in HRIS and Payroll systems, specifically Dayforce and Workday. The Corporate Payroll & HRIS Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate payroll processing and effective HRIS management, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our HR operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Stakeholder Support: Act as the primary HR contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee and process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • HRIS Maintenance: Manage and update the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and generating reports as needed.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and grievances, conducting investigations and resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Onboarding: Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding of new hires.
  • Performance Management: Support the performance review process, providing guidance to managers and employees on goal setting and performance improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate and facilitate training programs to support employee development and organizational growth.
  • HR Projects: Participate in and lead various HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and enhance employee engagement
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in payroll and HRIS management, with extensive experience in Dayforce and Workday.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as HR Generalist in a manufacturing Environment
  • Experience: 3+ years’ experience in payroll and HRIS management,
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and HRIS best practices.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Advanced degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience with Dayforce and Workday.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification.
  • Experience in managing payroll and HRIS in a global environment.
