CAREER OPPORTUNITY:
Drive Autogroup is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our HR team. The HR Generalist will lead our HR initiatives and support the growth and development of our diverse workforce.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about HR and has a strong ability to support our employees and leadership team in various HR functions across multiple dealership locations. They are hands-on and, as such, regularly have a strong presence in each dealership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in an automotive or retail environment.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and employee relations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other HR tools.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all HR functions for a group of automotive dealerships, ensuring consistency across the organization.
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to dealership managers and employees, guiding employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
- Lead recruitment and talent acquisition initiatives, ensuring we attract high-quality candidates for various dealership roles.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires by providing them with a seamless experience and ensuring their success.
- Responsible for leading and managing OHSA standards across the group, following up on JHSC training, updating health and safety boards, and following up on monthly inspections and meetings.
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism, sensitivity, and confidentiality.
- Assist in developing and implementing training and development programs to support employee growth.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and legal regulations across all dealership locations.
- Maintain employee files and records electronically using the company’s Human Resources Information System (HR4)
