The HR Generalist will support various HR functions, including benefits, federal reporting, policy management, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. This role requires a strong analytical mindset to interpret HR data, generate reports, and contribute to data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role will be hybrid; working both at the corporate office and home.
Responsibilities
- Maintain employee records and HRIS database, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Assist in benefits administration and open enrollment periods
- Conduct HR data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in HR metrics
- Create regular reports on key HR indicators such as turnover, time-to-hire, and employee engagement
- Collaborate with management to develop data-driven HR strategies and initiatives
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Provide general HR support and guidance to employees and managers
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources (entry to mid-level), preferably in government contracting
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Knowledge of HR best practices and relevant employment laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification
- Experience with HR analytics and reporting
- Experience in Payroll
