Epworth Villa, a faith-based, non-profit, Life Plan Community in Oklahoma City, is on a mission to “Enhance Lives so People Thrive,” and we’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and uphold Epworth Villa’s policies and procedures related to all personnel activities.
  • Opening office and serving as the first point of contract for employees, guests, and job applicants, addressing inquiries about policies, benefits, and open positions.
  • Assist job applicants by providing information on available roles and guiding them through the application process.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personal information, compensation, benefits, performance reviews, licensures, skills test, immunizations, and certifications, using HR and payroll software.
  • Manage updates to benefits providers, including medical, dental, life insurance, disability, and 401K plans.
  • Process employee terminations, including coordinating paperwork, updating benefit systems, and ensuring COBRA notifications are completed.
  • Organize, scan, and maintain personnel files, ensuring compliant with regulatory standards, including state board, and other organizational requirements.
  • Coordinates and conducts new hire orientation and onboarding while fostering a positive introduction to Epworth Villa’s policies and culture.
  • Prepare and coordinate new hire paperwork, including employee badges and timeclock enrollment, background checks and employment eligibility.
  • Ensure timely enrollment of new hires into the time clock system and assign time clock numbers.
  • Work with supervisors to ensure compliance with staff training requirements, including CPT, TB, and licensure renewals, and maintain documentation for state compliance.
  • Manage I-9 forms, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and organizational policies.
  • Perform additional tasks such as payroll, 401K, reporting worker’s comp, FMLA, short term disability claims, and other tasks and duties as needed to support the HR team and organizational goals
