JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resource Generalist plays a crucial role to the HR department. They will assist with the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay,
benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
COMPLIANCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Keep knowledge up-to-date with trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Spanish speaking preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.

ADMINISTRATIVE HR TASKS:
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
