QUALIFICATIONS YOU BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience in a generalist capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (Ceridian Dayforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with employees and managers to act as a trusted resource, supporting leaders in maintaining high-performing teams.
  • Assist with updating HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook, ensuring updates are communicated to all employees.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and maintain job descriptions.
  • Maintain a consolidated HRIS and centralized information repository, including employee files, reporting, and analyzing key metrics.
  • Support recruitment efforts by coordinating with hiring managers, building candidate pipelines, and executing day-to-day hiring needs.
  • Assist in managing the employee performance appraisal process and provide guidance to managers and employees on performance issues.
  • Participate in Health & Safety initiatives to ensure compliance with legislation, attend JH&S meetings, track action items, and maintain accurate records.
  • Identify, arrange, and administer appropriate training initiatives for employees at all levels.
  • Administer company benefit programs, ensuring accurate records of additions, terminations, coverage changes, and employee premiums.
  • Distribute benefits information and respond to employee inquiries or concerns about benefits.
