Description:
Northwest Respiratory Services is looking for a Human Resources Generalist at our Eagan, MN location. Northwest Respiratory Services is a leading provider of oxygen and respiratory products throughout the Midwest and Rockies. We specialize in serving the long-term care communities and oxygen dependent Veterans.
This Human Resource Coordinator position supports the HR department in a generalist capacity, performing duties in all areas of HR including onboarding, recruiting, and employee relations.

REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or general education degree; computer data entry experience
- 2+ years of Human Resource experience
- Knowledge of HRIS systems
- Up to date on employment laws and regulations

Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Post jobs, manage hiring records, and ensure compliance with EEO/AA requirements. Facilitate pre-screening, interviews, new hire orientations, and I-9/E-verify processes, while coordinating travel and handling job offers.
- Employee Relations & Recordkeeping: Serve as a resource for employees, assist with newsletters, maintain personnel and medical files, administer MVR checks, and manage Respiratory Therapist licenses. Oversee drug testing programs and update related records.
- Compliance & Reporting: Assist with annual state and federal reports, affirmative action plans, and audits. Update benefits, process terminations, final checks, and manage COBRA.
- General HR Support: Coordinate employee perks and recognition events, handle unemployment and workers comp claims, and assist with policy updates. Provide administrative support for special projects and other assigned tasks.
