Description:
A high-end dining club in Baltimore, MD is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team! The ideal candidate possesses a background in retail and/or hospitality, and has strong experience in recruiting, employee relations, and benefits administration. Additional responsibilities in this role include onboarding, payroll support, handling day to day issues that arise, new hire orientation, and interacting with the club’s leadership. Must be trustworthy, a team player, enthusiastic, and can work well independently.
- Proven experience in the field of Human Resources within the Restaurants & Catering industry.
- Proficiency with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now software.
- Knowledge of Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATS) technology.
- Familiarity with Ceridian and HCM software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage benefit functions within an organization.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong understanding of compliance regulations and procedures related to HR.
- Experience in managing employee relations and resolving disputes.
- Familiarity with hiring processes, including recruitment, interviews, and onboarding.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
- Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
