Description:

Sales Force Consulting - Our client is a major plastic coolers and food flask manufacturing company with factory located in Onitsha but with dealers spread across Nigeria and West Africa with staff strength of about 1,000.
They are recruiting to fill the position below:

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop the recruitment and selection procedure to include, appointment /confirmation /termination / resignation process.
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation and all on-boarding activities
  • Maintain employee benefits programs and directing the processing of benefit claims
  • Ensure compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource legal requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining historical HR records through a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
  • Review, amend and draft job descriptions and qualifications required for job positions.
  • Encourage and develop employee communications and provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job function, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
  • Ensure proper management of staff resources and maintenance of occupational health safety.
  • Allocate human resources, ensuring appropriate matches amongst personnel
  • Advise staff on all HR policy matters and recommend needed changes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • HND / B.Sc / BA.
  • HR Certifications is an advantage.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be passionate about HR andPeopleManagement
  • A minimum of 5 years of HR work experience 2of which must be in a generalist position.
  • Candidate must have worked or is currently working in a key manufacturing companyas Human Resources Generalist

  • Applicants must be very hardworking, target oriented, with high level of integrity
  • They must be conversant with all HR conventions and the Labor Act.
