POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Human Resource Generalist, you will be integral to maintaining and enhancing our HR functions. You will work closely with management and staff to support our commitment to a positive workplace culture while ensuring that our HR strategies align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will hold an Honours Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations and have at least 5 years of relevant experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Honours Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist in a Fintec setting.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment legislation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Enhancing HR Practices: Collaborate with the HR team to identify opportunities for improvement in existing HR processes, ensuring they continue to meet the needs of our employees and the organisation.
- Employee Engagement: Support initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture, fostering open communication and collaboration among team members.
- Capacity Succession Planning: Oversee succession planning efforts, ensuring we identify and develop internal talent for key positions within the organisation.
- Performance Management Support: Assist in refining performance management processes, providing guidance to managers and employees to encourage continuous growth and development.
- Compliance & Policy Enhancement: Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies while contributing to the development of best practices that support our organisational values.
- Training & Development Coordination: Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities that empower employees to reach their full potential.
- HR Administration Excellence: Maintain accurate employee records and prepare insightful HR reports to support strategic decision-making.
