Description:

As a TrueSense Human Resources Generalist, you will directly oversee the administration, coordination and evaluation of the Human Resource function for our Bloomsburg, PA facility! In this role you will use acquired expertise and capacity to effectively execute on the following concepts: ethical conduct, strategic thinking, leadership, decision making, and financial management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive human resources experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office and HRIS software.
  • Extensive knowledge of Federal and State laws and compliance related to employee relations/HR.
  • Must be organized and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must. Able to handle difficult situations professionally.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leaders to drive company established goals and objectives through a strong understanding of the direction and type of work of the business.
  • Handle all employee relations issues working closely with leaders to address performance and behavioral improvements including coaching sessions.
  • Create retention strategies utilizing exit/stay interviews, employee surveys, and skills assessments.
  • Recruit and manage open requisitions in a timely manner and onboarding after employees are hired.
  • Lead compensation practices including merit review process, offers and employment decisions.
  • Maintain organizational charts, job progressions, job descriptions, exempt audits, and career pathing.
  • Identify employee training needs and act as a coach for all leaders by establishing strong professional relationships.
  • Advise and assist managers to ensure consistent application and compliance with HR programs, policies and procedures.
  • Conduct investigations regarding harassment, EEOC, employee disputes, etc. and recommend resolutions.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with outside legal counsel as needed.
  • Work closely with HR team on benefits, payroll, training & development, and administration.
