Description:
As a Human Resources Generalist supporting our Canada operations, you will partner with teams to manage recruiting, employee relations, benefits, compensation, and more. You will guide process improvements across HRIS systems (Workday, UltiPro) while encouraging a positive, collaborative culture. You will be a catalyst for organizational development, providing guidance to managers and employees to ensure business success.
You Will:
- Oversee the full recruiting lifecycle, from candidate identification to onboarding, ensuring an outstanding experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Provide HR solutions, support, and coaching to managers, supervisors, and employees on HR-related matters, including investigations.
- Manage and administer HR processes in areas such as benefits, compensation management, performance management, organizational development, employee engagement, and retention.
- Serve as a key partner for functional leads, supporting performance management, salary/merit planning, and strategic talent review.
- Support employee survey initiatives, facilitating action plans and engagement activities.
- Collaborate with the broader HR team to maintain consistent administration of policies and practices.
- Partner with leadership to implement organizational design and development initiatives that align with business goals.
- Be the primary contact for union representatives, overseeing union relations and ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
- Participate as a key member of the bargaining team during contract negotiations.
- Use HRIS (Workday, UltiPro) to streamline and optimize HR data management and reporting.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related HR field.
- 5+ years of human resources experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience handling employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
- Integrity, professionalism, and the ability to manage confidential information.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems.
- Previous experience working in a unionized setting, including collective bargaining.
- A collaborative, results-driven mindset, focused on continuous improvement.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
