Summary
PM Pediatric Care is seeking an experienced HR Generalist specializing in employee relations and performance management. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment, managing employee relations issues, and supporting a performance driven culture. The ideal candidate has a strong background in HR functions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with managers to create a productive and compliant work environment.
Description
Employee Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee issues, managing concerns with fairness, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Conduct investigations into complaints and workplace disputes, ensuring fair and consistent resolutions that are in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- Coach managers and supervisors on handling performance issues, discipline, and terminations.
- Promote a positive workplace culture by supporting initiatives that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
Performance Management:
- Support the administration of employee performance appraisal/review process, ensuring clear communication between employees and supervisors.
- Provide training and support to managers in setting goals, delivering feedback, and managing underperformance.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive continuous improvement in the performance management process.
- Assist in the development of employee development plans, succession planning, and career progression strategies.
Compliance:
- Ensure all employee relations and performance management activities comply with local labor laws and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of employee relations cases and performance reviews.
HR Strategy Support:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies to align employee performance with business goals.
- Support other HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and policy development as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations and performance management.
- Comprehensive understanding of employment law and HR best practices related to employee relations and performance management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee issues with discretion.
- Experience working with Workday and performance management systems a plus.
- Proven ability to handle complex employee relations matters while maintaining a positive organizational culture.
