Description:

The HR Manager will serve as a operational business partner for our transforming Operations organization. This position will effectively coach, guide and influence Department Managers and Supervisors and provide HR guidance in staffing, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, culture and employee experience.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent
SHRM certificate preferred
Minimum four years of previous experience in a strategic HR Manager role
Demonstrated and strong employee relations, staffing, influencing and coaching skills required. Project management skills preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in ambiguous situations required.
May require travel 10%

Responsibilities:

  • Coaches and influences Department Managers and Supervisors workforce staffing, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, culture and employee experience.
  • Partners as backup in employee relations and investigations. Provides consistent application and interpretation of policies and procedures throughout the company. Demonstrate working knowledge of employment law, maintaining compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
  • Manages the talent acquisition process, including workforce plans, leading recruiting process, interviewing and successful hiring of qualified job applicants and an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Partners with peer HR Managers to build strategies to anticipate business needs and deliver metrics, and drives proactive data that informs business decision making.
  • Works closely with leaders and employees to increase employee engagement, productivity and retention.
  • Facilitates remote and in-person New Hire Orientation, I9s process and new hire requirements for four warehouse locations.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources and integrates into business best practices.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping sensitive information confidential.
  • Promotes and work as a company culture agent.
  • Leads and participates on organizational and company projects.
  • Perform other duties as it relates to human resources, as assigned.
