Description:

  • Maintain adequate records and information for all employees of the Company.
  • Manage the Employee recruitment process for new employees including arranging job adverts, participating in selection process, follow up of references, requesting background check and prepare Offer letters for employment.
  • Provide support and guidance to Managers and staff ensuring good employee relations and welfare.
  • Manage employee induction and orientation and monitor the process from probation to confirmation of appointment.
  • Prepare, and update regularly the Employee handbook, ensuring the policies are in compliance with Nigerian Labour laws and Employee Compensation Act
  • Obtain and collate employee data and promptly update the Payroll Package for monthly Payroll in accordance with Payroll timetable

  • Coordinate Employee Career Development Plan and succession Planning across the organization.
  • Identification and co-ordination of employee training needs and implementation of the Annual training plan, organising both internal and external training programme for employees
  • Collate and accurately input timesheets for hourly paid employees for monthly payroll run.
  • Administration of Employee attendance and absences through an enterprise-wide HR Employee Self Service System.
  • Management of Employee Health and Medical Care Scheme with Health Service provider.
  • Co-ordinate and monitor an effective Employee appraisal process for bi-annual performance measurement
  • Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedure in accordance with HR policies
  • Preparation of HR reports and submission to Management

REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • BSc (1st Class or 2nd Class) in Industrial Relations / Human Resources Management, Business Administration and any other Degree in Management /Social Sciences
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar position.
  • Member - The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management
