Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong emphasis on payroll processing and benefits administration.
Experience working closely with C-level executives.
Demonstrated expertise in payroll journal entries and benefits calculations.
Experience managing HR for a similar sized organization (65-70 employees).
Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Strong financial acumen and analytical abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
A passion for community development and social impact.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources for a dedicated team of approximately 65-70 employees. This is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of HR best practices, strong financial acumen, and the ability to work closely with the CEO. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned HR professional who is seeking a stable and impactful role within a mission-driven organization. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits administration.
Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This includes complex payroll journal entries.
Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollment, renewals, and vendor management. This includes complex benefits calculations.
Act as a key point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries.
Provide direct support to the CEO on a variety of HR-related matters, acting as a trusted advisor and handling sensitive information with discretion.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws and regulations.
Manage HRIS system and maintain accurate employee records.
