Description:
A non-profit client based in Paterson, NJ is currently seeking an Human Resources Manager on a contract to full-time basis. The Human Resources Manager will report into the CHRO of the organization, and primarily be focused on employee relations, HRIS management, and Benefits. As the Human Resources Manager, you will spearhead employee relations management, including utilizing good listening skills to manage any situations/issues that may need to be resolved, understand and utilize prevailing HR and employment law to ensure sound documentation of any complaints, and the creation and implementation of employee recognition programs. You will also have the chance to exercise your technical prowess in the way of assessing the current state of the HRIS systems, and working with Senior Leadership on upgrading to more modern systems and applications. Experience with managing benefits, open enrollment, and finding benefits enhancements is also a core part of this role. The ideal Human Resources Manager will have prior experience working in a non-profit environment, will possess strong communication skills, and will have some demonstrable project management experience.
