Human Resources Manager

Altruck International Truck Centres is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function in an international trucking dealership. This role involves managing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and training, within a fast-paced and dynamic industry. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in aligning human capital strategies with the dealership’s operational goals across various locations. This is an in-person job.
The job location is 405 Laird Road, Guelph ON N1G 4P7.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• CHRL/CHRP is a must have.
• Payroll ADP experience is a must have.
• Health and Safety experience.
• 10+ years of HR management experience, preferably in the trucking, automotive, or heavy equipment industries.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in HR software (e.g., HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
