Brannon Steel is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at the Brampton manufacturing facility. In this pivotal role, you will partner with the leadership team to implement HR strategies that support the overall business objectives of the organization.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Human Resource Manager is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role involves developing HR strategies, ensuring compliance with employment laws, employee relations, talent management, payroll administration, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Manager will work closely with management to align HR initiatives with business objectives and will be tasked with setting various policies and procedures around key initiatives.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Starting salary: TBD

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • 10+ years of HR experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing HR policies, including vacation policies.
  • Experience in developing and refining performance management systems for both hourly and salaried employees.
  • Experience in creating talent development and succession planning programs, including skills matrix development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive employee issues with discretion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create and implement effective HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Proven experience in selecting and implementing HRIS systems with advanced features.
  • Certifications such as CHRP or CHRL are an asset.
