Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
We are seeking a Regular Full-Time, Human Resources Manager (FTE 1.0). Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager, supervises and mentors HR team members, acts as a strategic partner to EFW’s leaders, and leads and implements HR projects strategic initiatives aligned with overall EFW objectives. The HR Manager oversees talent acquisition strategies, HR programs, and manages health and safety programs. This role is also responsible for overseeing employee engagement programs, reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures, and managing education and development programs. The ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing demands, and lead proactive strategies is essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute HR strategies that align with organizational goals and support organizational culture.
- Partner with EFW leadership to anticipate and meet current and future HR needs.
- Lead key HR functions, including talent management, health & safety, and employee engagement.
- Support Health & Safety Committee.
- Oversee the implementation of HR policies, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and organizational standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving ongoing enhancements by collaborating with cross-functional teams and identifying HR service delivery opportunities, and constraints to implement innovative solutions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to HR incorporating relevant advancements into the department’s practices and processes.
- Undertakes other related duties as assigned.
