JOB SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Manager provides leadership and guidance to the organization’s HR operations. The manager is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 + years of demonstrable experience in progressive leadership HR roles with strong working knowledge of all key functional areas of people, processes, and tools, such as employee relations, compensation/benefits, training, and development.
  • Required: BA/BS – Preferred MA/MA, SPHR, and PHR certification a plus.
  • HR experience in the real estate industry is preferred.
  • Experience with Paycor as HRIS tool is a plus.
  • Must be able to work with and understand financial information
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with high level of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
  • Poised and professional with an ability to connect with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to anticipate people or leadership changes needed.
  • Ability to develop positive, professional relationships with senior leadership and peers in a heavily matrixed environment to serve as a strategic business partner.
  • Self-motivated with a bias for action.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to execute on short and long-term deliverables.
  • A strategic problem solver who uses data and analytics to inform decision making and leadership coaching.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are preferred.
