Description:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE OF THE HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 3+ years of human resources generalist experience required
- HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting required
- Union/labor relations experience required
- Talent acquisition experience required
- ADP, KRONOS, ATS experience preferred
- PHR, SHRM-CP certification a plus

Responsibilities:
- Remains current on developments in the HR field.
- Creates HR metrics and reports, and other documents as needed.
- Assists in maintaining all personnel records in accordance with EEO, privacy, and related requirements.
- Assists in regulatory compliance including posting required notifications, generating applicable documentation, and maintenance of employee files.
- Provides guidance to employees and leadership relative to policy administration and interpretation.
- Creates and sustains effective relationships with local union personnel to keep abreast of available union labor resources.
- Assist the plant manager with the creation of union agreement for projects.
- Assists with updating and organizing job descriptions.
- Conducts job interviews (phone screenings and in person)
- Prepares and conducts new hire orientations and processes all new hire documentation.
- Conducts new hire and random drug testing program.
- Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I‐9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically conducts audits.
- Manage the annual performance review process.
- Supports PM with staff development, succession planning, and talent management strategies.
- Administer benefits meetings for open enrollment and new hires.
- Manage terminations, Facilitate exit interview process.
- Assists in development of office and field employee communications.
- Helps develop and plan employee activities/parties.
- Assist the EHS team with planning and logistics of the Safety Committee meetings and periodically Safety Meetings.
