A German kindergarten with an integrated preschool is also affiliated with the school.
Job Description
As an HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing our HR strategies. You will be responsible for managing effective human resources operations and supporting the school administration in all personnel-related matters. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be English OR German native speaker
  • Must have Work experience in a Human Resources role in UAE
  • Completed university degree in HR, business administration, or a comparable field.
  • Several years of professional experience in human resources management, ideally in a leadership position.
  • Solid knowledge and experience with UAE labor law.
  • Experience in implementing HR systems and processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Innovative mindset and experience in change management.
  • Experienace with Emiratisation preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting and Talent Development
  • Responsible for the entire recruitment process for all employees.
  • Training and development of the HR team to ensure they are well-prepared for HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Assisting in the preparation of job offers and employment contracts.
  • Overseeing the entire visa process for employees, including coordination with external authorities and partners.
  • Continuous monitoring and improvement of HR processes and systems.
  • Payroll and Compensation:
  • Overseeing and managing payroll for all employees, including conducting and analyzing salary adjustments.
  • Performance Management:
  • Introducing a performance-based evaluation system.
  • Developing a comprehensive onboarding plan for new employees to ensure quick integration into the team.
  • Labor Law Support:
  • Providing advice and support to employees on labor and social law matters, as well as health insurance.
  • Managing health insurance administration and ensuring coverage for all employees.
  • Collaborating with external partners, such as insurance providers and legal advisors.
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal HR requirements.
  • Development and Implementation of HR Strategies and Initiatives:
  • Promoting Emiratization through targeted recruitment and development programs.
  • Designing programs to integrate Emiratis into a German-speaking work environment.
  • Selecting and implementing new HR software to optimize HR processes.
  • Strategically optimizing existing processes, such as overtime calculations and compensation systems.
  • Grievance and Disciplinary Procedures:
  • Managing and resolving workplace grievances and conflicts, including developing mediation strategies.
  • Leading and conducting disciplinary procedures, drafting warnings, and organizing formal disciplinary meetings.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws when handling grievances and disciplinary actions.
