JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic team at Dreamfields, a leading cannabis manufacturing company. As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing HR strategies to support our rapidly growing organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a cutting-edge industry while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager in a manufacturing or highly regulated industry, preferably in cannabis.
- Experience with overseeing 300+ employees
- In-depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management, addressing concerns and promoting a positive work environment.
- Investigate and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
- Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance appraisal processes to drive employee development and organizational success.
- Work closely with department heads to identify performance improvement opportunities and develop action plans.
- Training and Development:
- Coordinate and facilitate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Identify learning and development needs, collaborating with managers to implement targeted development initiatives.
- Benefits Administration:
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with external vendors to optimize benefit offerings and provide support to employees on benefit-related matters.
- Policy Development and Compliance:
- Develop and update HR policies in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in employment legislation and ensure company policies remain current and aligned.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to foster a workplace that values and respects individual differences.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement and track DEI goals and initiatives.
- Health and Safety:
- Collaborate with the Health and Safety team to ensure a safe working environment, adhering to industry regulations and best practices.
- Implement and oversee wellness programs to promote employee well-being.
