Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

We are searching for an experienced, collaborative and action-oriented Human Resources Manager who will support one of our largest manufacturing facilities, Extang. This leadership role will partner with site leaders to develop actions and solutions regarding engagement, retention, talent development/training and recruitment. The HR Manager will also lead a team of HR professionals who will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives aligned with our People Excellence Strategy and enhancing the associate experience by evaluating, planning and implementing programs and practices resulting in a positive impact. Being a collaborative partner, this leader will also provide consultation regarding associate relations, performance and compensation management and policy interpretation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading a high performing team
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR team leadership in a manufacturing setting experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience establishing positive team engagement & retention strategies is preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a high volume manufacturing environment is preferred.

SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations governing HR programs.
  • Broad knowledge of all HR disciplines with a demonstrated in-depth knowledge in employee relations and talent management.
  • Demonstrated ability to build consultative, collaborative relationships with managers and co-workers at all levels.
  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and assess human capital needs and work collaboratively to develop and implement value-added solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive culture yielding positive business results.
  • Strong change management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • This position plans, staffs, evaluates, and directs the work of associates of a work unit. This role will have direct reports.

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about the facility and office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer etc. as well as have the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
