We are looking for a self driven and motivated Human Resources Manager to join our busy and growing Automotive Services Group.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced HR professional to build and foster progressive HR practices, as well as impact organizational culture and people initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- 5 years experience in HR including 2 years experience managing people and programs.
- 3 years experience managing end-to-end Recruitment process (create job description and posts, manage job campaigns, candidate sourcing, applicant tracking, interviewing, assisting with candidate selection and offer negotiation)
- Employee and labour relations experience will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Employment Standards Act (ESA), Human Rights Code, Workers Compensation Act, and Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and ability to research statutes and common law.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Self-driven to work independently with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.

The HR Manager woks closely with depart managers to provide support while enhancing our overall employee experience.
- Core areas of responsibility include Talent Acquisition, Onboarding/Offboarding, Performance Management and HR Administration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for full cycle recruitment (creating job descriptions, oversight of postings across various platforms, candidate sourcing, applicant tracking, phone/virtual/face-to-face interviewing, assisting in candidate selection, extension of offer and negotiations)
- Build and implement a strategic plan focused on maximizing recruitment/retention efforts.
- Develop talent pipelines through various channels and continually strive to improve the employer’s brand and social presence.
- Develop an On-boarding process for new hires, administer Offer Letters and New Hire Packages.
- Collaborate with Departmental Managers and Payroll to ensure employee files are maintained.
- Support Managers with performance evaluation process, conduct exit interviews as requested.
- Develop, update, and implement company polices and procedures.
- Manage private information with a high degree of confidentiality.
- Partner with Managers on escalations to ensure effective conflict resolution.
- Create meaningful and respectful partnerships with managers and employees.
- Develop systems and ensure compliance with applicable legislation and laws.
- Occasional travel to our various locations (as needed).
