Description:
We are seeking a Human Resources Manager for our manufacturing client based in York, Pennsylvania. This role involves a variety of HR functions, including employee engagement, performance management, and recruitment, to support the business objectives. The HR Manager will be a key member of the leadership team. This role will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an advocate for employees, assisting in the resolution of concerns and promoting a positive work environment
- Take a lead role in recruitment efforts, ensuring we attract and retain top talent to meet our business needs
- Oversee performance management initiatives, helping to ensure employees are working effectively and efficiently
- Develop and implement HR policies, programs, and procedures, ensuring they align with organizational goals and legal requirements
- Work closely with the leadership team to execute the company’s human resource and talent strategy
- Conduct organizational assessments and participate in succession planning to strengthen overall organizational capability
- Oversee the planning, directing, supervision, and coordination of work activities of direct reports
- Track and report on key HR metrics, providing insights to the HR and leadership team
- Develop and manage learning and development programs that provide internal development opportunities for employees
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate HR data within the HRIS employee system of record.
- 7+ years of experience in a human resources management role.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; SHRM certification preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and integrity.
- HRIS, LMS, and Microsoft Office experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
