Description:
SUMMARY
The Human Resources Manager role will lead the human resources department and create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork. From employee relations to compliance issues, the HR department helps ensure that the organization runs smoothly. The Human Resources Manager must demonstrate success in high growth, with solid best-practice organizational skills. Expert in enterprise-wide policy/process review, program design, and risk management; practiced in advising a highly integrated executive team.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor relations, organizational development, business, or related area; relevant work experience may be a substitute
- At least five years of experience working in the human resources field
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with human resources information systems (HRIS)
- Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, hiring, and employee relations
- Knowledge in all HR regulatory/compliance areas, to include EEOC, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, ERISA, WARN, time/exception reporting, as well as multi-agency auditing, and workplace safety
- Working knowledge of all State Employment and Labor Laws
