Sage V Foods is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Human Resources Manager who will be responsible for all HR functions at our production facility with over 200 employees in Little Rock, AR.
Sage V Foods is a family-owned company located in the heart of the Little Rock Port Authority. Our company produces individually quick frozen (IQF) rice and packages the rice for sale into the retail and food service markets. Sage has its branded products or private label products in almost every grocery store in the country. Many of our products are organic and we are proud to claim to be amongst some of the top selling skews in the natural food markets!
The plant utilizes a lot of proprietary equipment and processing systems. It is highly automated and full of complicated sophisticated equipment. The plant runs 24/7 and employs approximately 230 team members. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the employee life cycle. This is a full-service position that will manage recruiting, company culture, orientation, onboarding, weekly payroll, benefits, performance management, leave management, and enforcing policies and practices. The Human Resources Manager will report directly to the Plant Manager and will have a strong relationship with the owners. The owners and the headquarters of the company are in Colorado, but almost all employees are in Arkansas. This position will lead a small team of HR professionals to manage payroll, recruiting and employee relations. The preferred candidate will have a proven history of fosteringeffective relationships with management teams and employees.

• SHRM/HRCI Certified Professional PHRor SPHR, preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced, growing workplace
• A strong understanding of Human Resources principles, with experience handling complex and sensitive matters
• Mastery level of behavioral interviewing and adherence to federal/state labor laws associated with recruitment and selection
• Experience with applicant tracking systems, maximizing its functionality, and implementation.
• Experience developing and leading onboarding programs
• A dynamic personality, be enthusiastic, and be a creative professional who thrives under pressure and can perform multiple functions
• Self-motivation with the ability to manage deadlines
