Description:

We are seeking an experienced HR professional, who is passionate to work within an Organisation, where our primary outcome is to make a positive difference, to the lives of the people who we support.
Our Companies consist of Children’s services registered with Ofsted, Adult services registered with CQC, and an Independent School registered with Ofsted. Our Companies are all within a regulated sector, requiring our employees to work to legislative standards, ensuring compliance in all areas.
This role will ideally suit an individual who has worked within the care and/or education sector previously. This role can be fast paced, high pressured, and very dynamic. The role is also a standalone role, with some administration support available to the HR department.
Our HR Manager will be required to work with our Operational management team across all companies, delivering a holistic HR function.
Key responsibilities will include:

Establish an HR department, including each function of the employee lifecycle;
Implement policies and procedures which are in line with regulatory requirements;
Work with Operational managers to ensure staff compliance across all areas;
Develop HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements, in terms of numbers and skill levels, in collaboration with managers.
Recruit and onboard staff in accordance with regulatory requirements’
Managing absences in line with the absence management policy, in collaboration with managers
Ensure performance management policies are being implemented to meet regulatory requirements;
Manage and lead on employee relation cases including tribunal cases;
Analysing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers. Providing support with the planning and delivering of training.
Managing HR payroll
