Description:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from an accredited high school or hold GED.
Five (5) years full-time, wage-earning experience in general clerical/secretarial job duties.
Two (2) years human resources experience is required.
This position requires personal technology that will enable the completion of job duties and responsibilities when working remotely.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Knowledge of the principles and practices of human resources.
Skill in oral and written communications.
Skill to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments.
Skill in the use of computers and peripheral equipment.
Skill in the use of Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook.
Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process new hire documents.
- Conduct HR portion of new hire orientation.
- Prepare payroll documentation, including but not limited to: employment, termination, leave, transfer, promotion, absence information as well as salary analysis.
- Review paperwork for compliance with policies and procedures.
- Liaise with other agencies for new hires, training, and terminations.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of timekeeping data using manual or electronic systems.
- Review and verify timesheets submitted by employees for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with the maintenance of automated systems, files, and records.
- Compile data and prepare reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
